Endless Immensity

"If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up people to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea"

My prayer for myself, and for others, is that we would not get caught up in building things in the name of ministry. But rather we would yearn for the deep endless love of God, and in response to that, do His will in love. Amen.

Like Father Like Son

So for ever since I can remember, we've been going to Ohio for Christmas. Not to mention some in the summer too. But I've usually stayed in my Dad's old room, and it's pretty much the way he left it as a kid. It's funny. What you'll notice when you've grown up a little. It's just that all over his room is stuff I would totally have in my room. Like this old globe that is lights up, and pictures of ships on the wall, and Nasa stuff too. I know I've seen some things from him that are in me, but, it just struck me for some reason this Christmas. Of course we've definitely different too, so, I guess it's both. Either way, it's funny to see.
